The Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School
For more than 75 years, practicing artists and instructors have shared their talents and skills with students at the Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School. Please join us for a wonderful experience that encourages creativity, exploration and expression.
A New Simplified Framework
The Gallery School offers a wide range of courses for:
- Children
- Youth
- Adults
- Families
Each studio program utilizes a wide variety of media and techniques including:
- Drawing
- Painting and Watercolour
- Printmaking
- Photography
- Sculpture and 3-D Design
- Mixed Media
- Understanding Art
For Youth Studio and Adult Studio programs, two experiential levels are offered:
- Foundation Courses
- Advanced Courses
Foundation courses provide students with an understanding of the basics. Advanced courses provide students with the ability to explore a particular medium or theme in more depth. These courses generally run for either 8 or 10 weeks each in the fall, winter, spring and summer.
* Please note: It is not a prerequisite for students to take a foundation course prior to an advanced course.
Gallery School Instructors and Staff
Experienced artist-instructors lead all studio programs and an equally experienced team of technicians provide additional support.
